Leveraging the power of clinical connected operational insights
The project was focused on reducing the time to start up clinical trials. It was a part of a larger project bringing together seven different software tools into one suite. As part of a product trio, I led the product’s design direction. I was responsible for the early discovery, as well as the overall design strategy, UI design in figma and collaboration with a tech lead and front-end developers.
The problem
Aimed to use the company’s large amounts of data to build forecasting and decision-support tools that help users make faster, more informed decisions.
The process
Modelling the optimal route from Site Selection to Site Activation, showing the impact from planned and executed activities, and taking changing conditions into account for predicting the expected activation and recruitment time. At the same time allowing the user to make data-driven decisions, take proactive mitigations, track their progress and coordinate activities across the team

This project was initiated during the COVID-19 lockdown, when access to cultural institutions was restricted. While other industries quickly adopted digital solutions, cultural experiences such as theatre, museums, and cinema remained largely tied to physical attendance. Could this model be challenged?
